Meyers and Senegals Toys

As one of the smaller members of the Parrot family, a Meyer’s or Senegal may require smaller toys. Small and lightweight foot toys are easy to carry in feet or beak and help give a bird lots of exercise through play.

Encourage a customer to spend time bonding with their Parrot with activity and trick toys. Learning a new skill together cements the bond between Parrot and owner.

Another way to build the relationship is with toy-making parts. Customers can build a brand new toy or revamp an existing one and spark their Meyer’s or Senegal’s interest in it once again.

Swings and climbing toys improve a bird’s fitness levels as they move and climb up and down and from side to side on the ladders, climbing walls and more.

Don’t let your customer leave your store without a chewable or reusable foraging toy. Foraging toys replicate how a Parrot would go searching for food in the wild. In reusable foraging toys they have to spin and move the toys to reach the treats inside and in chewable foraging toys they have to shred and chew their way through to get to the goodies.

Many wood and rope toys double as foraging toys. They are made from different sized wood pieces and rope lengths for hours of chewing and preening pleasure.

Encourage your customer to supervise their Meyer’s or Senegal Parrot when they are playing with toys.
