Manzanita is a sweet-tasting, tropical hardwood. It is particularly strong and resists most bird`s chewing attempts indefinitely. The flat perch helps to exercise the bird`s feet and prevent sores.

Although Manzanita can split when drying like any wood, this is not a fault, merely an indicator of the hardness, Parrots certainly won`t mind!

Be sure to advise your customer to provide plenty of other material for their bird to chew on though!
