Cockatoo Food

Like all Parrots, Cockatoos require a well-balanced diet to ensure they have all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals they need.

Pelleted or complete food in particular, which should be 60% of a bird’s diet, gives this larger birds everything they need from their diet. It is varied, in a selection of shapes, colours and flavours.

Seed mixes, although they should only be a small part of a bird’s diet, can be varied too, some enriched with vitamins, some veterinary recommended and more.

Treats are recommended as only a tiny part of a Parrot’s diet as well. There are fruits, nuts, vegetables and other goodies to choose from.

If Cockatoos are breeding, there is special food that gives these Parrots everything they need to grow big and strong chicks. For the chicks themselves, there are foods that help them grow up healthily too.
