There are hundreds of toys to choose from for your store.
The most important style of toy is the foraging toy. Reusable and chewable foraging toys are available. Some toys have treats inside, others need to be filled with goodies bought from your store. Parrots love searching through the toy to get to the reward within them.
Cockatiels have delightful personalities. Customers like to spend time with them with activity and trick toys or toy-making parts. Learning a new skill on activity and trick toys, like talking or playing sports, cements the bond between Parrot and owner.
Or they can build a new toy or revamp an existing one with toy-making parts. Creating something fresh to play with sparks their interest in it once again.
Cockatiels love to make loads of noise, that’s why bells and musical toys are perfect for them.
As cardboard and paper toys are broken into smaller pieces they make a delightful noise. Parrots love to shred them, keeping beak and nails active.
There are many different fibres for a bird to explore on willow and palm and coconut and cactus toys. Cockatiels can preen with, pick at and unravel all the textures.
Foot toys give a Parrot lots of exercise through play, as they move and chew on them with their feet or beak.
Swings and climbing toys provide a Cockatiel with loads of exercise as they move around and climb up and down on them.
Wood and rope toys are great to chew on to keep beaks active and have fibres to enjoy preening with too.
Parrots shouldn’t chew on acrylic and metal toys. They are durable to withstand the strongest of Cockatiel playtime. Instead they have parts to remove and move around instead.
It is important that Cockatiels are supervised when they are playing with toys, as although all toys are safe for Parrots to use, no toy is completely Parrot proof.
